A slip of the tongue reveals the Ballon d'Or winner

Football 365 magazine caused a huge stir after catching a slip of the tongue by a France Football journalist during a live broadcast, in which he almost revealed the name of the winner of the 2025 Ballon d'Or.

Fans watching the broadcast confirmed that Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé was the winner, amid much controversy and strong French pressure to support him, despite fierce competition from Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, his Paris teammate Vitinha, and Moroccan-born Lamine Jamal.
