Borussia M'gladbach secured a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa in an M. Amicaux – Clubs friendly. T. Kleindienst was the hero for M'gladbach, scoring both goals to put his side in a strong position. Aston Villa managed to pull one back through J. McGinn, but it wasn't enough to prevent the German side from taking the win in this international club friendly.
