Corinthians managed to pull one back courtesy of Gustavo Henrique, but it wasn't enough to prevent Cruzeiro from taking all three points. Corinthians held 53% possession and registered 19 shots to Cruzeiro's 15, yet Cruzeiro proved more clinical.
