Ajax hopes to retain Ouazane, but United lurk

Manchester United are now eyeing Moroccan midfielder Abdellah Ouazane after his move to Real Madrid fell through due to a failed medical.

Despite a second medical at UMC Amsterdam confirming he was fit, Real Madrid backed out of the deal. Ouazane, who had turned down a renewal offer from Ajax, now hopes the rejection was due to an administrative issue.
