Laporta publicly challenges Paris Saint-Germain

In fiery statements, Barcelona president Juan Laporta heated up the atmosphere early ahead of the Champions League kick-off, expressing his desire to face Paris Saint-Germain this season, saying:

‘I hope we face Paris... It will be a special match!’

 He even admitted to a slight regret about last season, emphasising that Barça is ready for big challenges this year.

 The challenge is not only sporting, but also carries with it a history of tensions, especially after the departure of some stars and the controversy that accompanied several previous encounters.

 The French press sees his statements as a calculated escalation and a clear message to Paris:
