Lookman snubs Atlético: It's Inter or nothing

Ademola Lookman has made his decision clear: Atlético Madrid is not part of his plans. Despite recent interest from the Spanish club, the Nigerian forward is focused solely on Inter Milan. The 27-year-old has reportedly reached a five-year agreement with the Nerazzurri, earning around €5 million annually. Atlético made a quiet attempt but didn’t pursue talks further, knowing Lookman’s priorities lie elsewhere.
Now, Inter must strike a deal with Atalanta, who are demanding between €50m and €60m, partly due to a 15% sell-on clause owed to RB Leipzig. Inter, on the other hand, prefers a loan with an obligation to buy and doesn’t want to go beyond €40m. The negotiations are tense, especially with Napoli keeping a distant eye on the situation, although their top target remains Dan Ndoye. Despite competition, Inter still leads the race — and Lookman is just waiting for the green light.
