Marseille hold on to Ounahi and reject Girona’s offer

Azzedine Ounahi is among the players expected to leave Olympique de Marseille this summer. The club is demanding €12 million for the Moroccan midfielder, but no current offers meet that valuation.
Girona submitted a €3 million bid for 50% of the player’s rights — an offer Marseille deemed insufficient. Brighton have also shown interest, while Ounahi rejected a formal offer from Spartak Moscow.
Since joining Marseille in January 2023 after his standout World Cup with Morocco, Ounahi has struggled to make a major impact and was loaned to Panathinaikos, where he performed well. He has played 44 matches for OM, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist. His contract runs until June 2027.
